Last September, more than 40,000 Lights of Hope bags lined the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC. which included touching messages of support, encouragement and remembrance for those who have fought cancer, been a caregiver or lost a loved one.
Lights of Hope 2020 is going to look different then it has in past years, but it will be just as impactful. We are going to be bringing this powerful event to our community. With your donation you can help me bring hope to our community. Dedicate in honor of, in memory of, or for caregivers as part of this year's ceremony. I am lighting a light of hope for my grandmother who was taken too soon because of this terrible disease and my great aunt that is currently fighting it.
I’ll also be honoring other friends and family at this 10th annual very special event. I’d love for those you know who have been touched by cancer - friends and loved ones - to be part of it too.
For a minimum of a $10 donation you can help us light the hope in our communities with your dedicated bag and help us send a reminder to Congress that they need to do more to help fight this disease.
To raise awareness and money I will be cycling 50 miles a day for 5 days to reach my goal of raising $500. I will post updates on my Facebook page "Cycling for Hope" (https://www.facebook.com/Cyclingforhope250).
