On September 12, 4 p.m. EDT, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) will host its 10th annual Lights of Hope event. This year will be truly special as ACS CAN will host Lights of Hope Across America instead of on the National Mall in Washington, DC as has been done in years past. The iconic Lights of Hope bags dedicated to loved ones who have been touched by cancer will be displayed in communities from coast to coast through a virtual Lights of Hope livestream. This livestream will highlight stories of loved ones who have fought cancer and survived, and remember those who lost the battle. The Links, Incorporated will join ACS CAN in lighting Lights of Hope. 

Members of The Links, Incorporated are invited to honor family and friends at this special event. “Links Light Lights of Hope” provides an opportunity for each member to not only honor loved ones and friends, but support ACS CAN in the work we do to fight the disease that impacts Black communities in such disproportionate ways. We have all been touched by cancer – either personally or through family and friends. Please be a part of this special tribute and flood your pages with these dedications on September 12.

For a minimum of a $10 donation you can dedicate a bag and help us send a visible reminder to Congress that they need to do more to help fight this disease.
