No One Fights Cancer Alone . . .
The current corona virus pandemic intensifies the stress on numerous cancer patients. One way of bringing HOPE to those in treatment is my support for ACS CAN Illinois. You and I can purchase Lights of Hope bags in honor or in memory of friends or loved ones.
This September will be our 10th annual Lights of Hope event. However, due to the corona virus pandemic, we will not be able to travel to Washington, D.C. Last year more than 40,000 Lights of Hope bags lined the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pond in Washington, D.C. They included touching messages of support, encouragement and remembrance for those who are fighting or have fought cancer, been a caregiver or lost a loved one to cancer. This event sends a visible reminder to Congress that they need to do more to help fight this disease.
This year we are "Bringing Hope Home," and I will be honoring my friends and family at my Lights of Hope Across America event on Saturday, September 12. I'd love for those you know who have been touched by cancer--friends and loved ones--to be part of it too.
For a minimum of a $10 or more purchase you can help us "light" my yard with your dedicated bag/s. Your donation makes a difference in the fight against cancer.
Thank you for your support.
