Lights of HOPE is an American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) event that honors loved ones who have fought cancer and survived and remembers those who lost the battle with lighted bags that will line the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C.
The Lights of HOPE event will take place on Tuesday, September 10th, during the annual ACS CAN Leadership Summit and Lobby Day. At dusk the bags will be lit and line the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool while survivors, caregivers and lawmakers reflect and give remarks.
We want you and your loved ones to be part of the 2019 ceremony, a visible reminder to Congress that they need to do more to help fight this disease.
To prepare for this large-scale event as well as to allocate appropriate Lights of HOPE benefits all online and offline donations must be made by Wednesday, August 28th at 11:59 EST.
