Dear [Decision Maker],

As a constituent and volunteer for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, write today to urge you to cosponsor the Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA). Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) will soon reintroduce this legislation, which will help create a greater quality of life for people with cancer, survivors, and their families.

Last Congress, PCHETA passed the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously with nearly 300 bipartisan cosponsors and garnered 50 bipartisan cosponsors in the Senate. Please cosponsor and work with your colleagues to pass PCHETA this Congress. By supporting PCHETA, you will improve the quality of life for patients of all ages living with cancer, as well as their families and caregivers.

Sincerely,
