Dear [Decision Maker],

As you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As such, it is the perfect time for Congress to reauthorize the breast cancer research stamp. Bipartisan legislation to reauthorize the stamp has passed eight times in Congress. Just recently, language to reauthorize the breast cancer research stamp (Section 1085) was included in the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). I ask that you support the House-passed language in Conference so that the breast cancer research stamp is reauthorized before the end of the calendar year.

Again, please work with your colleagues to ensure the Senate supports the inclusion of House-passed Section 1085 of the NDAA as it comes out of Conference. Reauthorizing the breast cancer research stamp this October will work to honor National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the millions of women, men, and families impacted by this terrible disease.

Sincerely,
