The Texas Legislature is considering action to prevent the next generation from a lifetime of addiction. Senate Bill 21 (SB 21) will raise the age of sale for tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, from 18 to 21. The Texas Senate has already approved this measure, now the House of Representatives will have their say. Let your lawmaker know you support this promising initiative.

Please Vote Yes on SB 21

Dear [Decision Maker],

As your constituent, I urge you to vote yes on SB 21, a bill to raise the age of sale for tobacco products from 18 to 21.

Each year, 28,000 Texans die due to tobacco-related illnesses. We must act now to stop the next generation from a lifetime of addiction - and death.

95% of smokers start before the age of 21, and raising the age of sale to 21 will help prevent kids from getting their hands on dangerous tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.

As someone who cares about preventing cancer and protecting health, I appreciate your support in the fight for a world without cancer. I hope I can count on you to vote YES on SB 21.
