Dear [Decision Maker],

I am writing today as your constituent to urge you to please vote No on House Bill 19-1230 when it comes before the House Business Affairs and Labor Committee.

Granting an exemption from the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act for marijuana "hospitality" clubs put those patronizing and employed at the clubs at increased health risk.

Secondhand smoke from marijuana has many of the same chemicals as smoke from tobacco, including those linked to lung cancer. Smoke-free policies are designed to protect the public and all workers from exposure to the health hazards caused by exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke. The same should be true for secondhand marijuana smoke.

Please vote NO on House Bill 19-1230 to ensure the continued health protections the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act has provided Coloradans for over a decade.

Sincerely,
