I support the Tobacco 21 initiative

Dear [Decision Maker],

Each year, 28,000 Texans die due to tobacco related illnesses. That's why I'm asking you to vote to raise the age of sale for tobacco products from 18 to 21.

With 95% of smokers having started before the age of 21, raising the age of sale promises to help prevent kids from getting their hands on dangerous tobacco products, and save lives.

With rising youth use of electronic cigarettes, we must act now to stop the next generation from a lifetime of addiction.

As a Kirby resident and someone who cares about preventing cancer and protecting health, I appreciate your support on issues that will ease the burden of cancer in our community.

Sincerely,
