We need your help to solve the problem of e-cigarettes!

Dear [Decision Maker],

E-cigarettes are becoming an epidemic among our youth, and you have the power to make a difference. In 2017, 1 in 5 Rhode Island high school students reported using an e-cigarette. This number is on the rise, and I'm turning to you for help.

Our state's tobacco control program is funded at less than 3% of the CDC's recommended $12.8 million. They simply don't have enough resources and we need them now more than ever.

As your constituent, I'm asking you to restore funding for the tobacco control program to $3.2 million, the amount it received in 2002, to help us prevent our youth from using tobacco products.
