This week, the White House doubled down on its plan to cut cancer research funding. Not only do they want to cut $1 billion in cancer research funding in next year’s budget, now they want to cut medical research an additional $1 billion from this year’s budget, too. The impacts of these cuts would be huge.

This is why we need your help. And it's simple.

We might need your full address because many zip codes are split between two different congressional districts depending on where you live in that area.

To find your elected officials, please enter your ZIP Code. If you live in a split district, you may need to enter your full address.

Here’s what to say when someone in their office answers:

My name is [your name] and I’m from[city]. I’m calling to ask you to reject any cuts to cancer research funding and increase funding for the National Institutes of Health this year. Cancer research saves lives. Thank you.

Tips for calling:
  • If you get a busy signal, keep trying! As you know, this is a hot topic, and lots of people are trying to contact their lawmaker. But they need to hear from YOU!
  • Keep it short and sweet!
